INTERNSHIPS
Fort Knox Studios seeks bright young professionals that value creativity, hard work, and passion. As an intern at Chicago’s largest creative complex, you will have the unique opportunity to network with the hundreds of artists, musicians and industry professionals that call Fort Knox Studios home.
With opportunities ranging from design and marketing to audio and technical, we will work with each individual to refine talents and provide unique, fun opportunities along the way!

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
All Interns at Fort Knox Studios will work towards the common goal of providing the best overall customer experience for our tenants and customers. While music rehearsal and production is the largest part of our business, we also provide space for many different businesses within the music industry, host multiple networking and private events each month and manage warehousing and storage space for our clients.
As an intern, you will be on the front lines of our business, handling front desk duties, scheduling and managing rehearsals, preparing for events, handling transactions and providing outstanding customer service!
SPECIALTY PROJECTS
In addition to the general duties and responsibilities, our interns will work on individual and group projects during their internship. These projects will focus on different aspects of the music industry and provide you with a promotable body of work to take with you after your internship ends with Fort Knox Studios.

SOCIAL MEDIA
Responsibilities will include designing and creating weekly social media content, online marketing material, and the overall contribution to maintaining and promoting the Fort Knox Studios brand though various online channels.
REQUIREMENTS
Active presence and understanding of Facebook, Twitter & Instagram

GRAPHIC DESIGN
Responsibilities will include assisting in the design and development of layouts for marketing materials, using appealing graphics that are well organized and incorporate current design trends into each unique layout to produce an up-to-date style for custom social media posts.
REQUIREMENTS
Proficient in Photoshop and/or Adobe Creative Cloud softwares. Please include your portfolio.

REHEARSAL TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities will include setting up and tearing down our hourly rehearsal and showcase rooms, helping manage our equipment and backline, troubleshooting technical issues and checking in clients.
REQUIREMENTS
Basic knowledge of music equipment and customer service experience preferred.
